JOHN 10:30 : Paano Ba Naging Isa?

"I and the Father are one.”" (Jn. 10:30) ESV
Ang sinasabi sa Greek ay
ἐγὼ καὶ ὁ πατὴρ ἕν ἐσμεν (egō kai ho pat-her hesmen —NA28)
In other groups na naniniwala sa Consubstantialinity kagaya ng Modalism at Trinitarianism, ginagamit nila ito to support their doctrine on the Godhead kagaya ng sinasabi nila that the verse teach that the Father and the Son are one (Modalism) o kaya ang person ng Father at ng Son ay one being (Trinitarianism). both however is merely eisegetical at wala ang kanilang doctrine sa context ng passage. in context ay ang about sa good shepherd na kung saan pinaliwanag ni Jesus Christ na ang ginagawa Niya na works ay Kanyang ginagawa in His Father's name, at ang works na ito testifies of Him at then ay pinaliwanag Niya ang each roles nila for protecting the sheep (vv. 25-29), and then He says "I and the Father are one.”" (v. 30).
Ang Greek word na ginamit dito that is translated as "one" ay ἕν (hen) which is ang nominative neuter singular ng Greek word na εἷς (heis - masculine). ang word na ito ay ginamit in a neuter gender instead of a masculine gender. it shows that it doesn't refer on person or being, but on their unity! ang identity ng kanilang personhood is not in view but ang kanilang essential unity, and thus fits in sa context ng chapter.
Ang same Greek word na ito with the same word gender ay ginagamit sa Jn. 17:11-21 sa intercessory prayer ni Jesus Christ wherein ay kanyang pinagprapray ang unity ng mga apostles at maging ng mga believers. (cf. Jn. 6:56; 14:20; 17:11,21-22; Eph. 4:5; 1 Jn. 3:24; 4:13-15). Maging sa epistles ni Apostle Paul when he is talking about sa unity ng mga Saints ay kanyang ginagamit ang same Greek word with the same word gender. kagaya ng sinabi niya na :
"Only let your manner of life be worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of you that you are standing firm in one [ἕν] spirit, with one mind striving side by side for the faith of the gospel," (Phil. 1:27) ESV
At ginamit din ni Paul ito para i-describe ang unity nila ni Apollos :
"So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth. He who plants and he who waters are one [ἕν], and each will receive his wages according to his labor." (1 Cor. 3:7-8) ESV
And thus concludes na walang sinasabi ang verse na ito about sa Consubstantialinity kung binabasa natin ito contextually at honestly.
